Dockdrop 1.5 Released

It’s finally here. This version features:
- A much nicer icon
- Sparkle automatic updating
- A dock menu with the 10 most recently uploaded items so you can re-copy URLS to the clipboard
- Auto-close after an upload finishes, so Dockdrop is only open when it’s actually doing something
- Hot key uploading - this lets you choose a shortcut to use to trigger an upload of the selected item from the Finder, iTunes or iPhoto
- SCP public key support
- The upload progress window can now be moved anywhere on the screen and its position is saved
- Various other bug fixes and improvements

Hey John. Very well done my friend. These were some much needed enhancements and they work fine for me. There are plenty more features I would love to see in the future, but I think this was a great update and in a reasonable amount of time as well. I just looked at your site Michael, I’m with you on the icon. I actually preferred the older icon a lot more.

Is theire a possibility to use this with filedropper.com?

It would be nice with a feature to remove a file after a given time period. It will be useful if you use to upload to a server with limited space. Thanks for a great program otherwise!

Hey listen I tried fileshuttle but for whatever reason it didn’t work att alll on my mac so I found your app which is totally awesome as well.
I was hoping though that you could implement a feature that fileshuttle bragged; drag snippets of text onto the icon to have it converted to .txt and uploaded (via ftp or whatever).
